About Adolescent Minds Support

A Ghanaian nonprofit organisation based in Accra, dedicated to promoting the mental wellbeing of adolescents, particularly junior and senior high school students.

We believe every adolescent deserves to be heard, understood, supported and empowered to develop a healthy mind and a brighter future.

Through mental wellbeing education, advocacy, positive peer support and partnerships, we help young people build resilience, develop life skills and seek appropriate support when facing challenges.

Our commitment

We are committed to creating supportive environments where adolescents feel valued, informed and empowered to make positive choices.

Our work is educational and preventive. Where specialised assistance is needed, we encourage appropriate professional support and referrals.

Our Vision

A generation of young people with healthy minds and brighter futures.

Our Mission

To promote adolescent mental wellbeing through education, advocacy, support and collaboration.

How we operate

Educate. Listen. Connect.

1. Educate & Inform

We provide accurate, age-appropriate mental wellbeing education through school clubs, educational videos, awareness campaigns and community engagement.

2. Listen & Empower

We create safe, supportive opportunities for adolescents to express themselves, share concerns, build confidence and seek guidance without judgement.

3. Connect & Refer

When additional assistance is needed, we help connect adolescents with trusted adults, school counsellors, qualified professionals and appropriate support services.
